Nomad News-Vol.3-No.57

AN IRISH BLESSING: In Nomad News No. 33, April 28, 2010, I posted "My Journey to Tennessee" in which I listed a series of evnts starting in 1940 that culminated in our move to Tennessee from New Jersey. They seemed to be coincidences but I have been advised that there are no such thing as coincidences. This being true, then I have to admit they seem uncanny. We arrived in Tennessee in 1988 and, if the events leading us to Tennessee were uncanny, events after arriving and over the years, not only validate the original events, but add crudility to them. I believe I was destined, years ago, to make this move south. The reason, I know. The purpose has yet to be revealed. Now, I don't believe there is any power, divine or otherwise, that dictates my day to day actions, but I came across this following "Irish Blessing" that started me thinking: "May God grant you always, A sunbeam to warm you, A moonbeam to charm you, A sheltering angel so nothing can harm you." In Nomad News No. 58, coming out soon, I am going to list a series of events in my life that seem to have had some divine intervention. starting when I was less than a year old. Pastor David Lampman tells me my sheltering angel is an emissary from God. If there are no such thing as coincidences, then I must acknowledge the pastor's prophetic vision. Hawkeye
